The Final 4 Weeks!

It's been nearly a month since i updated this,
so i guess i better write something here
before it starts to rot and stuff uh.

Completed all of the high key events in BMT, namely
BTP (i.e. live firing)
Grenade Live Throw
Field Camp
Situational Test

I guess i stopped at the grenade throw the previous time,
so i shall continue from Field Camp ba.
Indeed, it's NEVER easy to go out field.
It's always a trouble when you find yourself the need to shit.
You have to go like far far away, dig a hole & cover it up after it's done.
We were really lucky enough that there was no rain
during our 5-days field camp at the camp site.
If not, we are really really going to be damn wet.
Not as tough as i though, perhaps due to the company i am in.
Nevertheless, it is quite an experience la uh.

Then the week that just past was when my situation test took place.
It's a 2 day event to put you to test to see if you process leadership quality
and level of participation when working in a team.
There were really some potential ones out there,
just hope that they would be decent and respectable commanders in future
because there are just too many fucked up ones in Tekong.
As for me, i kind of held the going-through-motion kind of mentality
partly because i'm not aiming for command school
and because i know myself that i'm is still far from being good enough lah uh.
Oh, and it did rain the second night.
It was like in the middle of the night like 4am thereabout,
like so wa lao eh. I want to sleep one leh.
Got to quickly go under shelter because of the lightning alert
but for one thing that is sure, it was DAMNNNN COLD.
Everyone sticks so close together lah.
Lucky that most of us were along in long 4,
that is our shirt sleeves are pulled down already.
But still, COLD!
haha.

The last important event before i pass out would be IPPT.
I just hope i can get at least a silver.
During the recent few test i've done, i'm like so near to it lah
but just fall short by a station or 2.
To be able to run a Gold timing (that is 9 mins 45sec and below)
is like seriously crazy,
so Silver will do for me. Pray, pray, pray.
