Think About It

On Thursday, i had lessons in this particular classroom
which i felt very disgusted when i step into it.
The classroom was filled with all sorts of litter.
Tissues, papers, the school magazines, TIME magazine worksheets.
All over.
Being a very tidy person, i just felt so out of place
to be studying in untidy classroom
or i would say, dirty.
Besides, i also had a bit of anger.
I saw tore and crushed pages of magazine, rolled into small balls.
Page by page, magazine by magazine,
that filled nearly the whole of the wastepaper bin.
If i were one of the writers, editors, designer, photographer or publisher,
i would be make sure the person eats it.
For each page you tear out and crush it,
it's as good as tearing all the efforts of many people.
That's the way how some students treat the school magazines.
I would say 3 in 10 would just throw it aside as soon as
they receive and finish looking (not even reading) through.
Throw, as in leaving it under the table, on the floor, all over.
Be glad they you are not paying it.

My point is:
1. whoever you are, you are such a sucker to tear & crush the efforts of many.
Back in secondary school when i was still in band, i always tell my juniors,
don't ever let me find the schedule list, done up by my teacher I/C,
on the floor and left it at a corner like some wastepaper.
You know how much effort it takes to even do up a schedule list,
what's more the whole of a magazine.

2. you are such a loser to litter the classroom.
I always think people who litters are really socially irresponsible.
Have you see how tiring it is for the school cleaners
are making rounds to the classrooms of each level
to sweep the floor, empty the dustbin, clean the whiteboard with wet cloth
for every few hours.
You think it's easy. Then you do it.
I once saw, in a separate event, a public cleaner
who happens to be a rather senior uncle
going into this drain of rather big width
to get rid of the leaves and litter stuck at the drain.
and i can see it did took quite an effort for him to get it off.
It just hurts me why people of his age
needs to clean up the mess of other people who litters.

3. you are an idiot who contributes to the worsening of environment.
Didn't you guys just attended the GP lecture on environment not long ago?
That's how education fails.
Teaching you the causes and effects of humans on our dear environment,
showing you videos and pictures of worsening Earth conditions
and you still continue to litter, tear and throw away resources
which could have otherwise be recycled.
Damn you

Before i left the class,
i cleaned up the classroom a little (as i feel the need to)
and i happened to see the small slip of paper (which is also part of the litter)
which is usually attached to the first copy of the whole set of magazines,
indicating the class, number of people in the class and its civics tutor.
Shame on you guys.
