Major Update

It's finally March Holidays
yet there is still SA exams awaiting for me when school reopens.
In fact, there's one just next Monday.
Chemistry SPA Skill Assessment.
Headache arh headache.

If you are not aware, SPA refers to
Science Practical Assessment and it's a school-based exam.
It's divided into 4 main skills.
Skill A: Planning
Skill B: Implementing
Skill C: Calculating
Skill D: Evaluating
Over a period of 2 years,
we will sit for a few assessments consisting of different skills.
It could be a combination of a few skills or just that skill alone.
This form of assessments is not a one-time off exam,
which is something i don't really like.
I still prefer to the form of assessment back in Broadrick where
we, the candidates, will just take it one and for all,
at the end of the 2 years. It's just less troublesome.
And i can tell you, skill A assessment is the worst of all.

On last last friday, the results of 2008 A-Level exam were released.
Woot! Scored quite good for Chinese! For both oral and paper leh!
Wa, damn happy.
Shall wait for the PW results when term 2 starts.
After collecting our results, Royston and I went to the hall
where the graduated JC2 batch are collecting their results.
I can really feel the atmosphere, serious!
Some are jumping for joy (literally) while
some are isolating themselves at a corner, crying.
Exactly one year later will be my turn. So fast, so fast!
One of my senior scored damn well.
He had gotten 'A's for all his core 3 H2 and 1 H1 subjects
(which are the minimum subjects one must take)
and had a D for his GP (which is not easy)!
Feel damn happy for him. Come on, A leh!
If there is even a E for my GP, i'm happy enough.
[By the way, A to E are passing grades.]

Last Thursday, 2 of my classmates (Hayden &Davin) & I
went to a science enrichment ice-cream making workshop as helpers.
Woot! Ice cream leh!
After the workshop, we the helpers get to play with the leftovers.
But my throat is just so bad that for every mouth of ice cream i ate,
my throat will just go very very pain.
Of all weeks, i was sick for this, even up till now.
Haha. Never mind. Gotten my 3 science enrichment points anyway!
LOL. 2 more to go!

Hmmm. What else..

Oh. Last year, my school's GP Department
organised an enrichment trip to Japan,
which is like so aw~~~ enough.
Know what? This year they are going to Poland @ Europe,
which is targeted at the year ones only.
For year twos to go (which is an exception already),
their academic results must be very very good.
Oh man! How come i always missed out the good stuff?

And i have checked with my maths tutor
who is also the HOD of student welfare.
She has confirmed with me that if
let say i were to fail GP (*touch wood*)
and that i were to choose to repeat year 2,
I have to retake all my H2 subjects as well
as all these subjects must be taken at one sitting.
That is to say for any subjects that can't be taken at separate sittings,
one have to retake all those subjects if he were to fail GP.
OMG! I AM GOING TO BE DEAD MAN!

Alright. Shall go do some planning for the week.
